You Name It We’ll Make It

Today I visited Suame Magazine in Kumasi. This is an enormous area that is inhabited by a community of engineers.

They can make anything you would want.

When things stop working, you don’t throw them away. You bring it to a Suame workshop of choice and they’ll fix it for you so you can use it as new.

The tech might not be ‘high’ but it is certainly efficient, crafty and tailored to any demands. And I don’t know about you, but I think it is pretty impressive when a shop owner tells me he literally built his company from scratch. This included building his own tools.

Now if that doesn’t prove craftmanship, I don’t know what does.
